Cadelo Privacy Policy

Information handling for your workshop projects, photos, and voice notes.

Effective date: October 7, 2026

Your workshop projects

This policy covers information handled by Cadelo’s project planning and making tools. When you choose a template or enter measured parts, these tools save the project’s dimensions, part labels and quantities, board measurements, thickness, saw kerf, rotation preference, layout, cut sequence, and progress on your device.

Changes to measurements, remaining material, and completed cuts are used to calculate and update your plan. Saved projects let you reopen that work and continue making.

Photos and voice notes

You may attach a board or project photo and a short voice note to a saved project. These notes are stored in the app’s local project files. Selecting a replacement photo or saving a new voice note replaces that project’s previous note of the same kind.

Take a board photo requests camera access when you use it. The system photo picker lets you choose an existing image without giving the app broad access to your photo library. Record a voice note requests microphone access when you begin recording. You may decline these permissions and continue planning and cutting without those notes. You can remove the saved photo or voice note from the notes screen.

Export and hosted documents

When you share a cut-plan PDF, iOS presents the share sheet and the destination you choose receives the exported document. Save layout image to Photos requests permission to add an image to your photo library. The resulting file in Photos is a separate copy.

The workshop tools do not upload your project measurements, board photos, or voice notes. Opening the hosted Privacy Policy, Terms, or Support page makes a web request to the document host; the host may process ordinary request information such as an IP address and browser details to serve the page. This is separate from your local project files.

Keeping and removing local records

Project files and notes remain in the app’s local storage until replaced or removed, or until you remove the app and its data. The app keeps a previous local project archive to attempt recovery if the main archive cannot be read. This recovery copy is on the same device and is not a guaranteed backup service.

Removing a note from the app does not remove a copy you already exported, shared, saved to Photos, or included in a device backup. Manage those copies in their respective destinations. Device backups may include app data according to your iOS settings. We cannot recover local records that are no longer available on your device.

Choices and contact

You can review and change project measurements, reopen saved work, remove photo or voice notes, and change camera, microphone, or Photos permissions in iOS Settings. Protect your device using the security features offered by iOS; no storage method is completely secure.

We may revise this policy when these tools or applicable requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. For questions about the workshop’s information handling, contact stefanoskarasavvas@yahoo.com.
